I just got a ps4, and downloaded this game. at least i thought i did. it installed "update data" and "the last of us". so i started playing, but at a certain point it went to loading screen with a progress bar and a 6 hour timer. so i exited out and checked downloads, now there is an "application data" downloading, and it's going to take a while.. The drive will be connected to the ps4 itself. you can only store game data, apps and dlc, this will also be tied to the ps4 itself, not the user, but you will still require the owner of the relevant content to be signed in when you play.. Download speed is just related to your internet bandwidth. ps4 and sony can't determine how fast it downloads, it just depends on the level of internet you pay for. most ps4 games are at least 20 gb which is a large amount of data, so if you can't download a large amount of data at once (band width) it will be slow..

Deleted the download content of the game with 99+ hours remaining (by going to the game in the main ps4 menu and pressing the "option" button while over the game to bring up a smaller side menu and then "delete".. Finally the "data to start application" is finished, so i started the application, and now they've got the special messages showing on the screen. on the bottom right hand corner it's got "installing 8%". it's been stuck on 8% for about 25 minutes now.. i went to my downloads and i see this bar called "all data" that still has 21 gb left of.
