Amd ryzen master reports rarely temperatures below 50 c. after boot it starts from around 45 and then sets around 50-55 when idle. room temperature around 19-20c currently.. The ryzen master reported the temps at 81 degrees after which the cpu speed came down to 2.99ghz and i stopped the test. one thing to mention here is that the manufacturing date on the processor was august of 2017..
Hwinfo, occt, and aida64 show different numbers from ryzen master depending if idle or under load; the difference increases as the temp increases. those three always agree but disagree sometimes with ryzen master. temp and this is the 1700 and does not suffer from the +20c the x chips can exhibit in temp values shown.. These temps should be in the 30-40c range idle and i have to have the cooler in extreme mode to keep them out of the 80s at idle. setup: windows 10 pro 64bit. amd ryzen 7 2700x. gigabyte x470 arous gaming 5 wifi. corsair vengeance lpx 16gb (2x8gb) ddr4 dram 3000mhz. gigabyte geforce gtx 1060 windforce oc 6g. evga 850 gq, 80+ gold 850w psu. The ryzen 7 1800x i've been using, which is running off a gigabyte ax370-gaming 5 motherboard, has been reporting idle temperatures of approximately 52-60 o at idle, and higher when workloads.
